Veeam DRaaS
Disaster Recovery
Replicate your workloads to our cloud and activate a complete failover in minutes. Business continuity guaranteed with contractually defined RTO and RPO.
How Disaster Recovery Works
Continuous replication + instant failover = business continuity
Replication
Your VMs are continuously replicated to our cloud.
Detection
A failure is detected in your primary infrastructure.
Failover
With one click, your VMs start in our datacenter.
Operational
Your business continues running without interruptions.
Understanding RTO, RPO and DR Metrics
These metrics define your business recovery objectives and determine what level of protection you need.

DISASTER

Services operational again
RPO
Recovery Point Objective
Maximum amount of data you can lose, measured in time since the last replica.
RTO
Recovery Time Objective
Maximum time your business can be without operational services after a disaster.
MTD
Maximum Tolerable Downtime
Maximum downtime before the damage becomes irreversible for the business.
WRT
Work Recovery Time
Time to verify and validate that systems work correctly after recovery.
The golden rule of Disaster Recovery:
Recovery time + validation must be less than the maximum tolerable downtime
Enterprise Disaster Recovery
Advanced features to guarantee your business continuity against any disaster.
NVMe Storage
Replicas as fast as your urgency to return to normal.

Every DR Plan is Unique
An effective Disaster Recovery plan cannot be generic. It requires a detailed analysis of your infrastructure, critical applications and business objectives to design a solution that truly works when you need it most.
Infrastructure Analysis
We evaluate your VMs, dependencies, data volumes and change rates to properly size the solution.
RTO/RPO Definition
We work with you to define realistic recovery objectives based on your business needs.
Network Design
We plan network extension, re-IP and connectivity for a transparent failover.
Documentation and Runbooks
We create detailed procedures so you know exactly what to do in case of disaster.
Free Consultation
We analyze your case with no obligation and present a customized proposal.
Response within 24 business hours
Supported Platforms
Our Disaster Recovery service is compatible with the leading enterprise virtualization platforms.
Does Your Sector Need a DR Plan?
These sectors have regulatory or business requirements that make a disaster recovery plan essential.
Healthcare
Healthcare systems cannot stop. A DRP ensures continuous access to clinical records and critical systems.
Finance and Banking
Regulations like MiFID II and PCI-DSS require continuity plans. Every minute of downtime has direct economic impact.
Legal
Court deadlines don't wait. A firm without access to case files loses cases and credibility.
Manufacturing
Idle production lines mean millions in losses. MES and ERP systems must always be available.
Public Sector
ENS requires continuity plans for public administrations. Citizens depend on digital services.
E-commerce
An online store down is a closed store. Every hour without sales directly impacts revenue.
Certifications and Compliance
Our DR infrastructure meets the most demanding standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Disaster Recovery
What virtualization platforms do you support?expand_more
We currently support VMware vSphere (ESXi 6.5+) and Microsoft Hyper-V (Windows Server 2016+). These are the most widely used enterprise platforms and allow us to guarantee maximum compatibility and performance for replicas.
What is the difference between RTO and RPO?expand_more
RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is the maximum time your business can be without systems. RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is the maximum amount of data you can afford to lose (measured in time). For example, an RPO of 1 hour means you could lose up to 1 hour of data since the last replica.
How do the included DR tests work?expand_more
We include 2 annual tests of your DR plan. During the test, we spin up your replicated VMs in an isolated environment to verify they boot correctly and services work. We provide a detailed report with actual recovery times. Additional tests have a per-hour execution cost.
Who activates the failover in case of disaster?expand_more
You decide. You can activate it yourself from the self-service portal with a single click, or you can call us 24/7 and our team activates it for you. In both cases, the process is the same and recovery times are guaranteed by SLA.
What bandwidth do I need for replicas?expand_more
We require a minimum 500 Mbps symmetric connection, although we recommend 1 Gbps for optimal performance. After the initial replica (which can be done with physical seeding), only incremental changes are transmitted. A fast connection ensures your RPOs are met even with large volumes of changes.
What happens when I return to my original infrastructure?expand_more
Our certified technicians will help you choose the best failback option based on our experience with multiple DRPs. During failback, we synchronize all changes that occurred while you were operating in DR. If you decide not to return to your original infrastructure, we offer the possibility of creating a dedicated private cloud with our Cloud Private / Managed services.
