What type of hardware can I host? expand_more
You can host any standard 19" rack-mount server, including Dell, HP, Supermicro, Lenovo and any other manufacturer. We also accept switches, firewalls, NAS and storage equipment. Contact us if you have non-standard equipment.
How long does installation take? expand_more
For standard configurations (1U to full rack), the process from contract signing to having your hardware operational takes 5 to 10 business days. This includes space preparation, power and network cabling, and commissioning. Larger projects are planned on a custom basis.
How does physical access to the datacenter work? expand_more
The level of access depends on your plan. For full racks, a biometric card with 24/7 access is provided. For individual units and quarter racks, access is escorted. All visits are logged in EDH's access control system.
What cross-connects are available? expand_more
Our datacenter is carrier-neutral with over 70 carriers and direct access to over 145 cloud destinations. You can request fiber cross-connects to any carrier or client present on campus. EDH will provide a patch panel with up to 12 fibers that can be individually activated according to your connectivity needs.
What if I need to scale in the future? expand_more
Our contracts are flexible and allow scaling from a single unit to full racks or even private suites. You can expand capacity without migrations or service interruptions. Simply contact your EDH account manager.
Can I bring my own connectivity? expand_more
Yes. As a carrier-neutral datacenter, you can contract your own connectivity provider or use our IP transit service. You can also combine both for redundancy with different carriers. EDH will handle all operational management with carriers, as we have service agreements with most of them to expedite activations and any necessary procedures.
