From Veeam Backup & Replication 13.1, available since late July 2026. It is native product support, not a script or third-party plug-in, and includes CBT-based backup, full and granular restore, and Instant Recovery to other hypervisors.

The published 13.1 capabilities for XenServer cover backup, scanning, full and granular restore, disk mount, export and Instant Recovery to vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV and Proxmox VE. Native replication remains the territory of vSphere, Hyper-V and Proxmox VE. For disaster recovery scenarios on XenServer we work with Instant Recovery from the offsite copy.
Can I restore onto your infrastructure if I lose my Citrix XenServer? expand_more
